I really enjoyed my stay at the youth hostel in port charlotte. Lorna and Karl are amazing hosts and I'm so happy that I decided to stay there.

Everyone and everything was first rate. Emma and Graham were warm and accommodating. Breakfasts were superb and the seafood platter was excellent. Highly recommended. Would visit again.

The hotel was small and cozy, Port Charlotte village was wonderful. The staff was friendly and immediate. The room was clean, comfortable and the bed was great. And the whiskey selection was great!

I got an unexpected upgrade, and the staff were really amazing. I had a night flight and they let me leave my bag to go explore during the day and were happy to let me lounge there until it was time for me to leave for the airport. Will definitely stay again if I’m ever back.

When you enter the B&B, they greet you kindly. The breakfast is not only delicious but also tremendous in volume. We also provide additional food if you want. They serve a glass of whiskey with the meal, which is very refreshing. The room is also clean. I have never seen accommodation with such clean facilities. It even made me want to visit Islay again because of this B&B.

Breakfast was great. The host would prepare just about whatever you could ask for in a breakfast. There was no lack of food for eating breakfast. The view of the loch was a nice thing to see in the morning before breakfast and in the evening after a day's travels. The host also make sure we had dinner reservations ahead of time, which is a must on Islay.
