It was a lovely location, warm and cosy! We met Louisa on her dog walk in the morning and got to meet her adorable dog who was very friendly. She then brought over some freshly laid hen eggs for our breakfast, and the chicks followed over.

The hosts sent helpful messages beforehand to give directions to the property and for getting into it. It is located down a quiet residential street just 10 minutes walk from Wem town centre, with its own clearly labelled parking spot directly outside. The Hayloft studio flat is very well designed and beautifully decorated. There is a large comfortable bed, settee and armchair and a small kitchen area with a kettle, fridge, toaster and portable electric hob which enable guests to make hot drinks, snacks or simple meals (all cutlery, crockery, pans, etc supplied). The bathroom has a power shower with two different heads, free environmentally friendly toiletries and a hair dryer. There was ample storage space for hanging or folding clothes, and the apartment was very well lit with a surprising amount of different options, and windows that opened. We didn't need the heating on but there were clear instructions for operating it and even hot water bottles just in case. A very comfortable and cosy place for an overnight stay or as a base for exploring Shropshire.

Perfect location lovely and quiet, our dog Monty loved the paddock and had a good run round with Stanley our host's dog so funny guarding the box of dog toys he thought they were just for him😂. lovely clean spacious cottage everything you need host's Creina and Matt, really welcoming garden centre and Shawbury chip shop great for our treats. Also, it was lovely to have the guest feature for Netflix to settle down with after all the walking loads of country lanes to explore. Monty slept solid last night on our return home Would we come again Definitely and make the most of the 10%off another bonus 5 stars from us 😀
