The location was great! It was super peaceful but it was still only a short journey from Kinross. The property had everything we needed and Nicki couldn’t have been more helpful!

This place is absolute perfection. As soon as we walk across the cobbled street to the front of The Dundonald we were greeted by the warmest of welcomes from Laura. We were given a tour of the beautiful house, tastfully styled & absolutely immaculate. The attention to detail was incredible. Our bedroom was equally as beautiful & very comfortable. 1 hour into our stay I started thinking of when I could come back & visit! Breakfast was equally delicious with fresh crossiants, juice, coffee, homemade granola & more! Laura is the perfect host with a loving & welcoming demeanour and made us feel at home, with great tips and knowledge to make your trip even better. We even enjoyed a bottle of wine & cheese board in the lounge on an evening. Location is equally great! Stunning & historic town of culross within a 45 min drive to Edinburgh which we enjoyed for a day trip. I honestly couldn't recommend this place enough. Its on the top of my list for places to stay in Scotland & can't wait to come back

    The lodge was in a beautiful location. It was very clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. Our hosts provided very useful information about dining out, local places to visit etc. There was a high level of communication with regard to site entry, accommodation entry, travel routes, and general organisation within the accommodation. Our hosts really did ‘go that extra mile’ to make our stay an enjoyable one.

    Lovely lodge with fenced off garden/decking, so ideal if you're taking your dog too. The lodge is very clean with everything you'd need for a few days stay. Shops are around a 10 minute drive, so easily accessible. Lovely walks in the surrounding area.
