A convenient location for us, a few miles from Hastings. Pleasant country house atmosphere. Helpful staff. The attic room we had was characterful and quirky. The afternoon tea experience is highly recommended. There's a walk around a pond and a large lawn for dogs; ours was made to feel very welcome. We'll stay again.

I really liked the feel of the suite, it was so airy and stylish but still comfortable. The shower was lovely too. Also didn't realise there was a toaster so could have taken some breakfast!

Fantastic secluded hideaway, loved the cosy decor. Log burner was so atmospheric and cosy. Little welcome features and small jug of milk so helpful! Will definitely be recommending to others and hope to return sometime ourselves. Beautiful setting close to nearby Battle.

    For £80 with breakfast included, friendly staff and good location this was ideal for our needs. Property was interesting and characterful. Plenty of original features, which we liked.     The room was absolutely stunning, on a wonderful location. The host (Shannon) was also super friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home immediately. I would love to stay here again, very good value for money as well! You do need a car or motorcycle to get around to restaurants ideally though!

    The location of this property was ideally situated for our needs (Theatre visit in Hastings). The hotel doesn't look much from the road but is excellent inside. Breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty. We would not hesitate to recommend and will certainly be back.
