Lovely friendly pub full of character and chatty locals. Nice open fire. Dog friendly which was nice to see. Food was excellent. Great choice in the evenings and superbly cooked.Very clean throughout. Really enjoyed the stay. If you don't mind being a little bit out of town then this is the place. Will definitely stay again. Lovely host (Terri), nothing was too much trouble (offered help with bags, drinks on arrival and to book table for dinner at local pub). Characterful property with a luxurious feel. Breakfast was fab. Nice location, short bus ride into Wells - would definitely recommend.

This is a must. Absolutely fabulous place. Such a wonderful welcome from joss the owner and family feel. So clean and comfortable. Everything you need is in your room. Joss makes you feel so welcome along with her lovely staff. The place is so beautiful with all the animals which my girls Absolutely loved. The breakfast was delicious. We are definitely going back next year and planning a longer stay.

We were served our menu breakfasts each morning with very enthusiastic friendly cheerful service and informative conversation and something to take with us for our daily travels, the available selections were generous too. We like how the owners have restored this very old historic dwelling into such an amazing inviting guest house.

This place was a little gem, the room was great value for money but Jacki made the stay for us. If you get a chance to chat to her take it, lovely woman with some fantastic stories and some really interesting history about the area! Would without a doubt stay again.

    So comfy and clean. We opened the French doors out onto an enclosed garden. The birds were singing and it was idealic. The facilities were clean and of a very high speck. The bed was very comfy and we both slept so well. As far as we were concerned everything had been thought about. We loved the whole experience and would visit again that's for sure.
