The place is a real gem - the room was super comfy and particularly well equipped while being both modern and well designed. The lounge and restaurant were the same - very comfy, using the old style of the building while providing some modern qirks. All in all the place is really beautiful and it was a pleasure to stay there.

Everything! The house is amazing & the privacy is guaranteed, basically isolated in a piece of heaven! Richard is present but he doesn't invade your moments at all! Position close to the national park so by taxi, if you have no car, is easy to reach it! The village and the river near by very cute.

    Location was ideal for us visiting relatives in Ivybridge. Richard was a great host meeting us on arrival and explaining everything to us. The food left for our breakfast was plentiful and varied. Shower was very good and everything was very comfortable. Outside seating was a bonus.

    The location was perfect, not difficult to find. Very clean and tidy facility, sufficient size and comfort. Lovely to have some milk on arrival so we could have a cuppa. The kitchen had everything you would need. Bedrooms we very nicely done. It was warm inside but not too hot. Hot water was perfect. Out hosts were excellent.

    Excellent location, tranquil, with stunning views. Everything you need was on hand and available and spotlessly clean. Wood burner for cozy nights in, and a lovely veranda to take in the views with a nice cuppa tea or glass of wine. For the daring, a lovely wooden fired hot tub is always worth a giggle.
