Everything!!!! It was lovely and clean, Sharon had made sure there were lots of blankets, hot water bottles and much more to make sure we would be warm during the night. The views were beautiful and so peaceful and calm. My favourite feature was the outside shower, looking out at the beautiful views on a cold October evening while in a nice hot shower was lovely. I will definitely be booking again.

The owner was super nice and welcoming, and the room was clean and cozy. The bed was really comfortable – even for us as a tall couple – and we finally got the good night’s sleep we needed. Lovely peaceful location, great breakfast.We were just sad to leave but already planing to get back here soon.

Everything! Wonderful hosts who met us with an ice cream and some other welcome goodies, and were helpful throughout our stay. Their cottage is in a beautiful quiet spot on a working farm, with no road noise and relaxing views - our family loved the horses etc. and the sunsets. Was spacious for our needs with two good-sized bedrooms, and well set up for small children with a stair gate and a guard on the log burner. We leave with great memories, will be recommending to people we know and would love to come back ourselves.

An absolutely beautiful place -gorgeous decor and everything carefully planned and throughout. On arrival we found.our room had been double booked but within minutes the host got back to us and we were upgraded to an incredibly amazing suite.

    The location is amazing. The chalet is well equipped, beautifully furnished and the beds are so comfortable. Bill and Sharon are the perfect hosts. If you want a break where you relax within seconds of arrival, The Meadow is the perfect location.

    Location - overlooking a lake in a field on a farm. Couldn’t see any other buildings or people just sheep, birds and deer! Was very relaxed. The cabin has lots of thoughtful little touches - games, blankets for outside, torches, fairy lights. The seating outside was great, we didn’t use the BBQ but would have done if the weather had been better. We used the map to walk the trail around the fields and lake which felt like a bit of an adventure!

    Location was amazing, so quiet and peaceful. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Communication before our stay was excellent and we had no problems finding the house. The house was really cosy and was perfect for our weekend away. We loved the private hike route around the host’s farm land and woodland and our children had fun playing around the lake. We would love to come back again another time.
