The whole stay was a pleasure. Lovely clean and attractive room, a very good selection to suit all tastes/needs at breakfast and peaceful communal rooms. All the members of staff were pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

I came to this hotel for a weekend break unfortunately mu wife had a bad bug and was really ill our daughter then got the same I cannot thank the staff enough for there absolute compassion and understanding I have stayed in hotels all over the world but I genuinely have never experienced a team so caring I highly recommend this hotel and can't thank the team enough xxx

    Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at The Star Inn. The staff were lovely, room was cosy and clean with all basic amenities. It's in an ideal location not far from Gatwick airport which was perfect for us after a very long day of traveling. We were the only people in the restaurant at breakfast time so very quiet and the food was delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to book with this place again!

    Very traditional location with a good pub and plenty parking space. Very good food at a fair price. As a hotel however it only suits rather low demands and definitely not for those looking for a quiet stay. The room itself was however very clean.

    Ideal location with hever Castle and chartwell, close by, the hotel overlooks race course, staff very helpful, room was large and comfortable, toiletries were lovely to use. Breakfast a very good choice. Ate evening meal in hotel, exceptional.

    The location was ideal for our visit to East Grinstead. The room was more than adequate and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was available and good value at £10. We ate twice in the bar and food and service were very good.
