The staff were very friendly and offered to print out our document for us to work with during the stay. The room was big and comfortable and clean, with working table. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and friendly priced, staff in restaurants were very helpful and friendly too. A lot to learn from the history and works from RNLI and we were glad to buy some lovely souvenirs from the shop. Free parking on the spot made it very convenient.

The stay was simply exceptional. We were a family of 6 (2 parents, 2 grandparents and 2 children) and this felt like home away from home for the night. We were greeted by complementary drinks, snacks and an abundance of facilities (6 towels in the double room!). The rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean with every small detail considered. Our children woke up to a full plate of Irish pancakes and hot chocolate at 6am, as if they had woken up in their grandparents’ home. This is an “old school” BnB, where the hosts will wait up for you, offer you food and drink and engage in pleasant conversation. If you’re looking for an anonymous, faceless stay then this perhaps isn’t the place for you. For our needs after a long busy week touring hustling and bustling cities, this was just the tonic before the trip home.

Carla was wonderful. She is so passionate about the area and happy to share her recommendations. Her home is in a great location for the park and quay.     Such a gorgeous property! The little touches of bread, orange juice and some other bits as well as fresh flowers were lovely. The house was very clean and the hot tub was spotless. Location was perfect, nice and quiet but a short taxi ride to the town.
