Beautiful BnB, extremely comfortable. Tony really makes the BnB special! He’s an excellent cook and breakfast is exceptional. Recommend going to Nicks down the road for dinner too! 10/10 - I loved my stay. And there’s a gorgeous cat!

Everything. This is the best B & B I've stayed in. I was in the area for a walking weekend with three friends. We all felt the same. The building and grounds are beautiful; perfectly presented, maintained etc. The rooms were tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, warm and very comfortable. Stefano was extremely friendly and could not do enough to make us comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and carefully presented. The location is perfect - an easy walk from the shopping area but just far enough to be quiet at night, allowing a great quality of sleep. We highly recommend this establishment and will definitely be back!

This hotel was a wonderful discovery. It is an old coaching inn built in the 1600s and it has been beautifully decorated and is run by the owner and two other middle aged ladies and they run the place like a well oiled machine. We were very impressed. Food was the best food we had during a week in Scotland. We highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Ben A'an House really exceeded our expectations. It was only a one-night stay on the way to the north of Scotland and we really didn´t needed much. BUT! The house was really nicely and tastefully renewed (reality is much better than photos!), the host was really helpful and attentive, the breakfast was the best one we got during our trip through Scotland. Shared bathroom was really nice and spacious – and it was used only by two room – what meant we didn´t met anyone. Thank you again!

We had a truly wonderful stay! My wife and I enjoyed every moment here. The accommodation was beautiful – the room was tastefully decorated, very cozy, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the highlight for us was the charming dormer nook with a sofa and a stunning view – a perfect spot to relax with a book or a glass of wine. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. This place has a special charm, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and outstanding hospitality.

    Fantastic Location in the middle of countryside. Old house totally renewed with very nice features. All commodities and services available. The host Tony is very professional and extremely friendly. Environment (garden, kitchen, rooms) very clean and very well maintained. Many pibs and restaurants close (10 min by car).     Outstanding location overlooking the Lake. So beautiful and peaceful, a really tranquil place. Laura and Ronnie met us when we arrived, carried in our luggage and were so helpful. The Mews is spotlessly clean and is just a wonderful place to stay. Laura and Ronnie left us a welcome pack of bread, eggs and milk as the kitchen is really well equipped. There is a log fire for those colder evenings and a gorgeous covered outdoor seating area. It is absolute bliss and Laura and Ronnie could not have been better hosts. They are exceptional.
