Chapel Cross is a beautiful guesthouse. Brian greeted us and made us feel very welcomed. Our room was beautiful decorated and the facilities were excellent. Perfect place to explore the local area and also easy to travel into the centre of Edinburgh.

Stable Cottage provided us with a truly delightful and relaxing stay. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the generous size of the cottage, offering ample space to unwind and feel at home. The interior decoration was a particular highlight, beautifully designed and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Comfort was clearly a priority, and we found the cottage to be exceptionally well-equipped and furnished. One of the standout features was the lovely garden, a true haven of tranquility. It proved to be an excellent addition, especially for those traveling with a dog, offering plenty of space to roam and enjoy the outdoors. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and informative, making us feel instantly at ease. Their helpfulness and attention to detail greatly enhanced our experience. They were readily available to answer any questions and provided valuable local recommendations.

We really like that the Scott was within walking distance (30min walking) from the city but far enough that could sleep in peace. It's a beautiful hotel, the staff is AMAZING! They really did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

It was very cosy, modern technology for the lights and heating. Compact but enough space for a couple. The spa was the cherry ontop. Extra little gestures for the experience also like hot chocolate for coming in from the spa etc.

    We had a lovely spacious room, and the location is ideal for visiting Rosslyn Chapel (200 m). Very friendly host. Opposite the guesthouse is an Inn, with a very cosy pub and nice meals.

    The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was very clean, cosy & warm (end Jan beginning Feb stay). Dolly's tea room downstairs had a good selection of lovely food. Very friendly locals. Ideal location for the Chapel, Castle & Roslin Glen. Would highly recommend & look forward to visiting again.
