The hostel is just a short walk off the West Highland Way. The staff were supremely kind and welcoming, the dorms were small, cozy and clean. Bathrooms were clean and spacious and the common kitchen was well equipped. The entire building is gorgeous, with stunning views of the lake from the lounge area. Meals were available too at a reasonable price.

Great breakfast with different variations - so will not get boring over time. Stunning view over Loch Lomond from the terrace. Additional refreshments available in the "living room". The Inn-keeper is very friendly and gives you very nice recommendations on dinner locations, hiking opportunities, ... What was also amazing that you get a free whisky every day as a nightcap!! :-)

Lovely and welcoming place with everything you need. Very comfortable bed in a spacious, clean and comfortable room with cute decorations. Breakfast provided with many different options. A must stay for couples. Absolutely perfect. Beautifully built, lovely decor, and the garden is just amazing. Fiona was more than accommodating, very helpful with restaurant recommendations and places to go walks. It was my fiancée’s 40th and she had the balloons and bubbly there for her arriving. Also, the place was absolutely spotless. A fantastic stay away and highly recommended.

Beautiful renovated stone cottage in an amazing location overlooking Loch Lomond. Short drive into Luss Village which was the reason were there. One bedroom and bathroom downstairs and the other in the loft with ensuite. Property is well maintained and kitchen well equipped. There is a washing machine, no dryer, but we used a clothes rack in the sunny kitchen. Good communication with Jin, the host. Overall we were very happy.

We had a great time at the hotel ! It was very warm and comfy , ideal for December ! The room was very confortable , food was great , and there was a really cool fireplace. Totally recommend !

    If you want to stay in a castle and still travelling on a low budget - this is the place. Location is superb. Especially if you are up to hike Ben Lomond. The hostel is fine as usual.

    The staff were great! Very welcoming and helpful. Dinner was good. The location is fab and the comfortable lounge with an amazing view was so relaxing. The hostel is currently undergoing some refurbishment we noticed some older style shower units and some lovely new ones. The hostel was immaculate absolutely spotless - no easy task with walkers to and fro - well done!
