Quiet location, perfect stop heading North after a flight into Gatwick. Lovely pub with a restaurant and garden, we had a delicious meal and pint in the bar. Stayed in one of the apartments which was spacious, nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. Staff were lovely, really friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful quiet location with views across fields from the private garden area and your bed. Fabulous bathroom with thick towels and robe, well equipped kitchen with good quality crockery. Lovely and warm. Very comfy bed. Good storage for clothes.

The quality of the work done on the buildings and the materials used - brilliant . Being out in the fields - endless rolling fields - really nice. Sitting out on the patio having breakfast early morning watching Red Kites . Little touches like the bread , milk etc for us to use ( I bake a lot of bread, have a big interest in all things to do with bread - and it was interesting to see that you had grown the wheat - the bread was excellent ) . It felt relaxing - somewhere to drop anchor , cook food and ' switch off ' . We really felt like we'd had a holiday.

The apartments were perfect for our stay. Being a large sporting group of 18, the apartments provided big living areas and very large kitchen facilities in their ground floor apartments (the Executive 2 bedroom) with all other apartments still very spacious and comfortable for our athletes. The other apartments we had at Ascot House were loft style 2 bedroom apartments, all with moderately sized kitchen facilities in each, new and modern rooms with 2 bathrooms (double, double rooms) plus free onsite parking. There aren’t too many shops or cafes immediately near by being that they are located in a business park however, large shops like Tesco and Iceland are a short 5min drive away plus it’s only 15min to Peterborough. Ascot House has some beautiful walking trails through forests and fields that start at the end of the street and the lake is also within walking distance. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, assisting us with anything we needed to help our group settle in and across the week. They even provided us an additional desk for our room that was set up in the foyer area to use for the week. For a sporting team of our size, the accommodation is very suitable.
