Iain and Jack were the absolute stars of One Drake Road, and everything was extraordinary, so that’s saying a lot. They are jovial and warm, welcoming and familiar and they gave us the best advice for every facet of our stay. They are the Devon and Cornwall tour guides that we didn’t expect, but certainly needed and we are SO grateful. Every time we would leave or arrive, the boys would pop their heads out of the front door to make sure we were sorted. This is the kind of service you could only expect from the best 5 star hotels. The property was also INCREDIBLE. We didn’t want to leave. It was clean and comfortable and homely, the boys have done an exceptional job on the design. It feels like home, but better decorated. The toiletries were out of this world. I didn’t need to wash my hair, but I did, because smelling like geranium felt like an opportunity I shouldn’t miss out on. We cannot wait to come back. A beautiful room which was well appointed, extremely comfortable, tastefully decorated and absolutely spotless. They provided a fabulous breakfast and Wendy had also left some sweet treats in our room for our afternoon tea. Our hosts were great and we spent some time exploring & relaxing in their garden. In the two months that we have been travelling in the UK, this has been the standout accommodation. Thank you so much.

    Really large flat with everything you could possibly want. Quiet location and the owner was friendly and helped when needed, but left us be. Perfect host. Nice quiet location and ideal for exploring Devon and Cornwall. My 11 yr old son, spent the first half hour 'wow'-ing the place. So thats high praise from him!!

    Very very quite peaceful location. Very clean modern and attractive. All the basic amenities for a stay. Helpful unobtrusive host. Great internet so if you’ve streaming facilities on tables or accounts for Amazon Prime etc there’s no problem getting all the films etc you want!
