I absolutely loved here. After I stayed with them, I had to travel in the UK to other hotels for a bit and it spoilt me as other hotels then didn't seem as good. :-) I came back to the area after the travel and I literally couldn't wait to get back to Sebastian's. When I first arrived with them from 32 degree Italy I was unprepared for the cold British weather that week. The owner Michelle immediately put the heating on for me, provided slippers and a dressing gown and actually gave me one of her jumpers to borrow for 2 days until I could buy one. I loved the homemade biscuits, the little touches and the breakfast was wonderful - the rooms were of such a high standard. The owners really care. I literally did not want to leave. Loved it and it is first on my list.

WOW!! Amazing hosting for there first time not too much and not too little, I felt right at home and at ease and trusted being a solo traveler in there beautiful detached house with ample parking in a quiet cul de sac in a nice little village of st Martin which has places for walkers and other adventurers u have Wales just ten minutes away and waterfalls and castles to visit in the area it has local shops and a pub. The rooms are perfect with lovely good size en suites with lovely warm showers, Ellie and mick and dog Bobby were great will definitely stay again

Very cozy lodge with amazing views! The log burner is absolutely perfect for keeping the place warm and for creating a relaxing environment. The sauna was fantastic and had an incredible view! I feel like this is a perfect getaway lodge no matter what time of the year, but the sauna and log burner make it absolutely perfect for winter! The hostess was very kind, friendly, and informative of what there is to do around the area. This was my first time using booking.com for a little getaway and it was perfect. Very happy here, will be coming back! Many thanks:)

    Breakfast was fine for us, though not a great deal of choice. We already knew there would be no cooked food. The location was lovely, opposite the castle with swans and ducks in the moat. Although an old property, the en-suite facilities were excellent. Our hostess was welcoming and helpful.

    The entire place just had an overhaul and was open up again for the past two weeks only. Room was spotless. Everyone was really friendly and wanted to help. Location was great for where we needed. I would stay again.

    The boot was an ideal location for Derwen college where I was working, it is a beautiful old public house with rooms set in a glorious village location near the ancient Castle of Whittington. The staff are warm and friendly and the rooms are large and spacious with a hospitality tray. The décor is old fashioned but it fits the personality of the place. The meals were very good as was the breakfast.

    The landlord and landlady (Mark and Jenny) were most accommodating, very clean not a spec of dust anywhere. All bar staff and waiting staff are so polite and the actual food served was lovely and not overly priced either. Breakfast was spot on and the coffee tea supply in the room was replenished at will. Large car park free to park Beautiful location and also easy to get to. Definitely be returning again.
