Owner came immidiatelly, when we arrived. Showed us personally all appartment, and explaind more details. Location very good - close to village, and close to famose Rotonda Restaurant.. Appartment - house - well equipped, clean and comfortable. Big terrace with nice view over the valley. And we had got many local fruits, coffee, tea, some coockies. wine.

Mr Manolis his wife, Vassiliki, together with their son and daughter, Popi & Yorgos, create a unique philoxenia experience. Their politeness, their helpfulness and readiness to all our requests, their genuine good-hearted spirit and years of experience in managing their boutique apartments & tavern, are the core of their being a top-level host. Each of them has put a piece of their expertise and stylistic signature to create a comfy accommodation, characterized by a minimalistic but super-efficient & practical style that perfectly matches the surroudings of the calm and welcoming bay of Lionas. On top of that, dining at their Delfinaki Tavern is a whole experience in itself. The hand-made delicacies of Miss Vassiliki (do try everything!), especially her jams and liquors and pies and all, together with the home-brewed, extra-strong and scented raki of Mr Manolis, will give you the real taste of Greece that you've been searching for. Mind you: all vegies they use are from their own garden and all cheese and bread and other products are local, home-made products. I might as well say we were pampered and spoiled so much during our 8night stay, that I already see myself returning there next year!

Nicely renovated room with balcony near trees, in the center of village, only 50 m away from main square, but very quiet. I liked soft bed and slept well, AC operated well and was quiet. I slept well. Perfect choice for people who wish to avoid crowds near main beaches, and experience more authentic Greece, for people who like to walk and like nature. Owners doing their job with heart and passion.

We loved staying there - the apartment was amazing: it was spacious, clean and modern. We specifically loved the big bath tub :) The swimming pool is big enough and there are a lot of sun beds, you can order a drink and drink it there which makes for a really nice plus! The area is really calm, a bit far from everything but it didn't bother us as this was exactly what we were looking for. Manolis was great as well, he was extremely well and gave us plenty of recommendations as to what to do in Naxos & (more importantly) where to eat! We also were gifted olive oil which was a truly kind gesture.

Julia sells a VIP package for her visitors! Before she even left Italy, she was already working as an online concierge for any kind of questions! She also offered us a transport from the airport to the apartment! The apartment itself is just as in the photos: all new, furnished with great taste, perfect! We also liked the balcony with a partly panoramic view. The location of the apartment is fantastic for visiting the island and reaching Chora, the most famous villages and all the most beautiful beaches. You can park your car, scooter or quad right under the house. Julia, the owner, delighted us by offering us many typical specialties and her children Eirini and Stelios are two nice and excellent collaborators. We felt better than at home.  I don't think I'll go back to Naxos because I like to travel and discover new places BUT to all those who will tell me that they will go on holiday to this beautiful island, I will definitely recommend them to book at Gallantry Apartment in Galanado. TOP 5 ⭐

The place is very authentic and made us feel like part of the village community. The host makes the experience even more amazing. He helps with everything (even with problems not related to the room itself) and is just an amazing person! The village is easy to access by bus and the taxi is not expensive either. I highly recommend staying in this village and this place if you want an amazing and different experience. The nightlife in the village center is really unique and worth seeing. It is a very cozy and cool place. Everything was clean and the place had a historical feel to it. There was no dirt on the floor and the bathroom was also clean. The bed and bathroom is suited for medium height people in our opinion (our height is 175 cm and we still had plenty of room to spare). So we (2 people) had no problems with the size of the bed and fit into it perfectly. Everything was comfortable and the experience was the best! Thank you!

    Maria, the host was very nice, providing reommendations of places to eat, beaches, etc, always interested that we don’t lack anything and very responsive to any request. Upon arrival she waited us with a delicious carrot cake and various fruits! The house is very clean, you get all the facilities needed and a large nice yard where you can enjoy the silence and scent of nature. One of best accomodations that I definitely recommend and would for sure return to if visiting Naxos again!

    The location and village were fantastic. It’s a beautiful property with a little balcony leading off the bedroom. For our meals we just popped out and had the most incredible choice of excellent restaurants. The village was the most attractive on Naxos ( in our opinion!) We had a hire car and drove to some beautiful beaches on the east coast.

    It's the perfect spot: very quiet, in the middle of a secluded green valley, but at walking distance from the beautiful village of Apeiranthos. We enjoyed the mystical call of the owls at night, and the very spacious terrace at breakfast. Maria is super friendly and helpful, and the apartment is spotlessly clean. I would certainly stay here again.
