It took me a week to write this review just because I didn't know how to write one that would do our vacation justice. Antonis was the kindest host; he welcomed us from the moment we arrived, assisted us with everything we needed throughout the vacation (there was a small ant infestation that he got rid of within hours) and even advised us on what to visit, going as far as to call acquaintances to give us some boat tour options. 😊 The room was nothing short of dreamy, more spatious than the photos give it justice, with every facility you might need (fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, hairdryer, iron & table for ironing, makeup table) and a breathtaking view of the coast at any time of the day. There's an AC in both of the rooms, and the walls are perfectly designed for temperature isolation so that not much of the heat gets inside if you keep the doors closed. Clean, tidy, and intimate, with an exit to the balcony from both the bedroom and the living room, sunbeds, and a hot tub with lights, music and bubble jets that exceeded expectations— especially in the evening, when the breeze made bathing even better. The surroundings are characteristic to a more picturesque Crete, being a bit further away from the crowds and buildings, which sets an incredibly peaceful ambience, with fireflies and sheep noise in the distance. (I loved the sheep bleating.) There aren't really insects otherwise! Everything was mosquito free. The location also welcomes you with a lovely parrot named Riko, who may seem shy at first but has an amazingly charming and sociable personality, if you're patient enough to give him attention everytime you pass by. We promised Antonis we'll come back again, and we will; it's a shame to only stay at this hotel once.

Amazing boutique hotel. Private pools and the beach with free very comfy sun loungers. The staff are so kind and helpful. Beach Boy and Apoustoulis are the best ones🙂 I can only highly recommend! I wish I could stay longer.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed during any of my vacations! The house was absolutely perfect — spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was incredibly comfortable and felt like home. The hostess was kind, helpful and welcoming, making everything easy and stress-free. The villa is very beautiful!!! Located very close to centre of Stalida, this magnificent house has all the comfort necessary to relax and enjoy the time in Crete!! The outside of the villa is very beautiful with the pool and barbecue, perfect for a group of friends that wants to relax and has fun! The host is perfect, she waited at our check in and she showed us all the villa with all the necessary information, she helped us to find some places to visit, restaurants and beaches! This vacation was perfect, and the main reason was Atalaya Villa!!!

    The staff and the owners are very friendly! The location is excellent. Very close to the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets. Very clean. Good view doesn't matter if you have sea view or garden view. The garden is amazing. You can find here a mini library in multiple languages. If you want a piece of real Crete, this is the place!

    Fantastic hotel on the beach very clean a/c works great bedding and towels changed daily location is fantastic was met by Manas on arrival who couldnt be more helpful asking if we need anything and always has a chat every day and then there's Maria who looks after you as if you were family such a lovely lady and fantastic food I've never felt so welcome arrived as a guest left as a friend I wouldn't hesitate to book soleil rooms

    I read some bad comments about the apaartments, so I did not expect very much, but I was suprised ... There is nothing bad to tell, the house is old but well maintained, very clean and equipped with everything one would need. I had an apartment with one bedroom, it had a big balcony with even two sunbeds and it was incredible cheap. Not far away from the beach and center either. So I keep this adress in my mind and can recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a valueable apartment around ...
