Though it's not super-modern inside, I found the atmosphere of the place very congenial. This was added to by the kindliness of the lady that I dealt with, Ana, who went out of her way to be helpful. And the cat. There is a small swimming spot just a few metres away.

The host was nice and welcoming despite the fact she couldn’t speak English, but google helped to get the job done! 😊 The room was beautiful with a breathtaking view of the sea from the terrace (where we had our dinner!).

Great apartment located in quiet Babino Polje with a swimming pool. Onsite parking. Super friendly hosts who welcomed us with a cold beer and helpful tourist advice. 25 mins drive to national park, close to Odysseus Cave. 2 mins drive from 2 small grocery stores. Walking distance to pizzeria with fantastic views. Comfortable lounge area and balcony. Full sized fridge/freezer and functional kitchen. Access to washing machine near pool. We had a great stay on Mljet because of this

Marijana was a perfect host, offered me a coffee on arrival, showed me the place, helped with other things I needed and was so friendly and inviting. The area of this is beautiful, can easily hike to Veliki grad and Odysseus cave, no issues with finding it or parking. Lovely quiet place, the people in surrounding areas very friendly. Everything I needed inside the cave too. Great recommendation for the pizza place up the road, best pizza ever. For those who may not like cats, the cats are well fed and looked after and do not bother you at all, the cats and chickens are very funny to watch. The roosters can be loud sometimes in the morning but if it woke me I was easily able to go back to sleep. Absolutely loved this place I’d love to come back.

If you want to rest your mind and body, Apartments Vinko are the perfect place. Nestled in a peaceful little bay with a secluded beach, they offer stunning views from the terrace. Everything is spotless, well-equipped, and cared for with great attention. Mr. Vinko and his entire family are wonderfully kind and welcoming. We were fortunate to enjoy fish that Mr. Vinko himself caught and prepared - such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. We will definitely return to magical Mljet and Apartments Vinko. Great location, next to the seaside, in the heart of charming Sobra village. The place is huge and the view from the room I was in is spectacular. Unfortunately, we were there for 3 days only, but this apartment seems suitable for longer stays as it offers everything you could wish for. There are two bathrooms, one in each floor, which is super handy if there are more people. There was a bottle of locally-produced olive oil in the kitchen, which you can freely use, and then buy some more if you want. We did just that, and I can highly recommend it, it's a really good oil.

We had the honor of being the first guests in this amazing villa on an incredible property. I must say that the villa and the property are much, much more beautiful in person than what is shown in the pictures. We are more than delighted. Beautiful nature around the villa, countless olive trees, figs and pine trees, truly a rest for the eyes and soul. From the terrace, from the pool and from the entire property, you can't see a single house in the area, which is perfect for all those who want peace, intimacy and privacy. The villa is not located in the immediate vicinity of the sea, but the beach, town and shops are only a 5-minute drive away. As for the villa, it is very spacious, modernly equipped, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay was waiting for us in the villa, they really thought of every detail; sheets, towels, laundry detergent, fabric softener, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, kitchen paper, toilet paper, even mouthwash and bug/mosquito spray... The kitchen is fully equipped, dishes, utensils, glasses, really everything we needed. The owner, Mr. Mirko, is a wonderful, kind man. He also owns a beautiful restaurant on a nearby small island. You must go for lunch or dinner at the Melita restaurant. A truly sincere recommendation for all future guests. This was definitely one of the most beautiful vacations and we look forward to coming back...

    The Location is amazing. Since it is the only hotel on the island, it is as good as you can get. Being at the very entrance of the National Park, it is an ideal location. Be prepared to walk and walk and walk :-)

    The location was very good for the lake just a 10 minute walk. Beautiful surroundings. Very much back to nature. The pool was fantastic very clean and the kids spent hours playing water volley ball with the inflatable net provided. The new deck was great for an afternoon sunbathe or some yoga in the evening when it had cooled down. The host was amazing and even got me some eye medication when I woke one morning with a swollen eye.

    The location and views were stunning. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We hired electric bikes to go around the National Park this is well worth a visit. The local restaurants were good. We especially enjoyed the Stella Maris. The local shop shuts at 4 pm. .

    Do not be out off by the low(ish) rating of Hotel Odisej. We had quite low expectations but the hotel, staff, setting, facilities were all excellent. Yes, it’s a little tired in places, but for a dream-like location and view, this place is hard to beat. The wellness centre is an added bonus with treatments and a free sauna for guest. Wi-Fi works in communal areas, deal with it.
