I stayed here for a few nights, and it was a truly grounding and beautiful experience. The place is peaceful and spotless, with a comfortable room and a calming atmosphere. Putu and his wife are two of the kindest, most genuine people. You can have deep, meaningful conversations with Putu. His wife prepares absolutely delicious food throughout your stay, and I was lucky to cook with her one evening—it was such a special moment. I also did a jungle trek with Putu, and his deep connection with nature made it feel magical. One of the highlights was a private purification ritual at a hidden temple—no tourists, just the sound of water and the stillness. If you’re looking for a soulful, authentic experience away from the crowds, this is the perfect place.

The house is amazing and the garden is. so beautiful. Adi looks like a rock star., but it is such a super nice guy. His uncles prepared us an amazing breakfast in the garden. The room is big and the mattress very comfortable , . And everything was soo clean. We couldn’t have ask for more. Thanks adi and uncles for all.

The entry has a few steps which are higher than average, so those with mobility issues could have a challenge, but not a problem otherwise. It has been my second time at Oemah Tepi Sawah. The best place I stayed in Bali. I didn’t want to leave it. The location is quiet, great around rice fields and jungle, the team is so lovely. I have done most of the activities they offer and I really enjoyed as you go always with a local guide providing information about their culture. This time I also helped Dewi (the owner) with the English classes for the kids in the village, it was very special. We had a great time! The food is delicious, I enjoyed every breakfast and dinner. This place is perfect for you if you want to immerse in the Balinese culture and the real Bali! Thank you Dewi, Putu and the rest of the team. I’ll come back!

    Everything! We had the most incredible stay here. The view was incredible and it was so peaceful and quiet. At night, you could see fireflies in the rice fields!! Location was perfect, an easy bike ride to Jatiluwih rice terraces and beautiful waterfalls. We will definitely be back!
