The villa is located alongside amazing rice field. We had an amazing view from our villa. Thanks the staff our stay in the villa was super comfortable. The dinner was delicious. The breakfast super healthy. The communication with the staff was held via WhatsApp. Totally recommend for those who want to enjoy the silence and nature.

Our stay at Bamboo Hidden Village was an unforgettable, wonderful experience, where we became one with nature and got a glimpse of the real life of the locals in the village. We spent three nights there and felt very honored to be among the first guests at this accommodation. We especially took our host Agung and his sister into our hearts—they are so hospitable and helpful, take care of you, and are always available via WhatsApp. Any questions we had were answered immediately, and we were also able to rent a scooter from him very easily—it was at our door within two minutes. Breakfast was brought directly to the villa – on request, an extra vegetarian breakfast with Balinese specialties was even prepared for us – super delicious! Since it is a bamboo house in the jungle, you should be prepared for some cute geckos to be near the villa at night, which may entertain you with their noises, and small cute frogs sometimes croak at night. If you are sensitive to noise, we definitely recommend earplugs! It is important to know that these are the only animals that may make themselves comfortable far away from you in a corner of the bamboo house – there are no wild animals such as snakes or the like, so you can enjoy a real jungle experience without any risk. We have also learned that geckos are considered lucky charms and guardians of the house in Bali. Furthermore, the bamboo house property is fenced in anyway. The villa also has a breathtaking outdoor bathroom, which adds even more charm to the nature and freedom experience – but the hammock in the front area tops everything anyway! I cannot recommend this bamboo villa enough.. It's truly a natural gem set up in the middle of the jungle, on top of rice terraces, with breathtaking views of Mount Agung.. The villa is magnificent, the bed is super comfortable, the food was devine & the staff are amazing especially Wayan and Kadek who took exceptional care of us..The team is also highly communicative which was super helpful and Wayan, who also speaks English, created a wonderful itinerary around Selat at a very reasonable price..We were lucky enough to enjoy the villa in good weather aswell as during a rainstorm which strangely enough was just as wonderful since the sound of the heavy rain on the bamboo created unique symphonies.. At night, fireflies light up the sky, and the sound of different creatures in their habitat sets the right mood..If you're a fan of nature, this is the perfect place to get away from the city chaos of Ubud & simply zen..Will definitely be back here ❤️

The villa is absolutely stunning with the best views. It is comfortable, clean and private. We had such a relaxing time. I miss it already! Such a different experience than a resort. Perfect to start or end your holiday. The staff were amazing and so accomodating. Can message at any time on WhatsApp for any request or question; with a quick reply! They always message before entering the villa which was very respectful and private. The host organised for massage therapists to come to the villa for us on the second day. Perfect for a few nights stay, a relaxing retreat, or romantic getaway! We stayed 3 nights and I think that’s the perfect amount of time. Security is good. There is a staff member in a hut outside of the villa up until 7pm (which then you are encouraged to lock the gate to the villa if you leave). Feel very safe and our possessions are secure, the staff were so amazing and kind. Can not recommend enough! There is a huge net above the bed which keeps the mozzies and other bugs out at night, didn’t get bitten! It rained most of our trip but it was sooo amazing regardless. We made the best of the hot tub and enjoyed relaxing and the view. We got to hear the river flowing at night, the insects, and the quiet. It was so peaceful falling asleep. The suspended net hammock was awesome. The outdoor bathroom was gorgeous. They have a huge jug of mineral water (drinking water) in the room too; which was great. They have thought of everything. They even have a projector. We couldn’t sign into the Netflix on the projector but it also allows for hdmi and usb connection, so if you plan on using the projector might just be safe to pack your laptop and hdmi cable/or usb/hard drive :)

A stunningly beautiful location right in the middle of rice fields and view to Mount Agung. The location is very picturesque. Beautiful sunset and sunrise view. The property is also very nice and cozy with great food menu. Perfect for relaxation if you have exhausted travelling in Bali would really recommend to stay here at last to give your trip a perfect relaxation after.

Absolutely amazing place with well thought out facilities. Everything was provided from toothbrushes, towels, shower gel, shampoo and even entertainment. There is a kitchen in case you want to cook but can also order from local restaurants who will deliver. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They can organise everything for you. This includes transfers or tours and excursions.

We stayed two nights at Pondok Sapta Sallaca and had a wonderful time there. Mr Nyoman, the owner, organised for us the hike of Agung Mount with the guide Nyoman Mulkti during first night / morning. We enjoyed a little breakfast in the night before going and when we came back, Komang made us delicious (enak!) meals and organised laundry service. She is a good balinese language teacher and speaks English and a bit of French too! Wayan guided us also to the rice fields. Thank you so much to all the team, the place and the people here are so great!

    Beautiful location and lovely accommodation. Staff are exceptional, and you are never left wanting. The in-house restaurant, which also delivers to the villas, has lots of options and everything we ate was delicious! You can also hire a scooter from them for free (if you're licensed and experienced) and explore near by.

    EVERYTHING! We stayed in the Nirvana cottage, the smallest one on the premises. We loved the ambiance, the views, the immaculate gardens and vegetation, the location, the luxury of the room, bedding and outdoor shower, the bonfire, the most beautiful rock pool, meeting the interesting, humble and kind owner Madè and made feel at home by the Santa and the lovely staff!

    Location is far from the airport, but then it worth the distance. You can find pure nature and all the white noise from the nature you can have great night of sleep or afternoon nap if you stay positive and not be afraid of every sound and shadow. If you have all the necessary things to avoid insects in your skin you will enjoy, the humidity is normal, but you can always ask for fresh linen bed clothes. The bamboo house is magical and you can feel the calmness far from everything.
