Parking is generous and there is an unloading area by the front door. Reception was efficiently friendly. The large room, which looked out onto woodland from both windows, was beautifully quiet and restful. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the water hot. Ideal base for walkers or equally as a wedding venue. Pleasant helpful staff who even sorted a room complaint without fuss or issue. Good evening bar/ restaurant and food and tasty self service breakfast. Liked the organic tea and coffee in the room.
