The location, friendliness of owner, quietness of the location, and the breakfast were all exceptional and better than I had expected. The owner gave us good advice as to what to see and where to go, and even when departing and we told him where to we were heading, he recommended a restaurant to us which we visited and were super please with.

Situated in fabulous countryside surroundings, very beautiful and peaceful. Warmly welcomed with a very professional attitude wile having a lovely family feeling on arrival. Grounds and house front are very well kept and clean. Again, a warm and welcome homly feel on entry to property. Accommodation was immaculately clean throughout, comfortable and warm with all facilities available to you being all you could ask for and more than enough. Fantastic grounds and surrounding area to walk and take in surrounding area. Wifi and plenty of parking space. Excellent value for money and an enjoyable stay.

The house was so lovely and comfortable. The linen and duvets on the beds luxurious.The towels are large and really soft and fluffy. The location was close to the centre (15 mins walk to Sean's Bar), but it was so lovely and quiet.Great to park the car safely off the street. All you could need for a relaxing stay.

Really enjoyed my stay here! The place is super clean and cozy, and the view of the river is gorgeous. It’s right in the middle of everything—just a few steps from Schoen’s Bar, lots of places to eat, and even a hotel nearby where you can grab a nice breakfast. Perfect base for exploring Athlone.     The owners are very friendly and helpful. The property is very clean, comfortable and presented tastefully to a very high standard. We were in Athlone to visit family and Riverdale is an ideal location, just a short walk from the centre of Athlone. With a fantastic breakfast with so much choice, pubs and restaurants close by you certainly won't go hungry. We shall definitely return next time a family visit is planned.
