We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this rural house near to Kilkenny! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly comfortable and welcome. The hosts were always there to help us with anything we needed and went above and beyond in their generosity. The facilities were excellent—clean, spacious, and well-maintained. What really stood out was how kind and attentive the hosts were. They provided us with everything, including food and transportation, without charging us anything extra. Loved everything! Mary and Ger were fantastic hosts. Our room was big and roomy. It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was great. The chocolate in our room was a nice treat with a cuppa. The separate tv room was great to have. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. The location is nice and quiet and although it was out of town it only took a few minutes to drive into the centre. There are only 3 rooms for rent so it's very nice. I would definitely stay with Mary and Ger again on a return visit.

It had the basics (coffee, tea) plus scones, milk and even more. Loved it and appreciate them offering these commodities. Other places don't include the basics and I'm avoiding to go to them. We can't be traveling equipped with salt, oil, coffee, etc everywhere we go.

It was the perfect holiday for us, we stayed 5 days, with older children 10 and 16. They appreciated the pool table and air hockey which meant we had an actual break! It was lovely and peaceful, there was Netflix so we relaxed as a family in the night, it was great we couldn’t ask for more.
