Stunning location, beautiful views, nice and cosy cottage with a fireplace to sit by in the evenings with a glass of wine. I'd say it's a wonderful place for a romantic getaway or a family holiday, it really does suit all. It's a great base for viewing county Kerry loads of things to do near by, walking trails, boat trips to skellig michael, pottery and art galleries, little villages with local food and drink. The list goes on. The host John was very accommodating and welcoming, if you need anything or have a query he's very quick to respond to messages and help where he can. I would definitely recommend staying here, lovely place.

Extremely quiet and comfortable. That is, if there are few people in the hostel. If people are talking downstairs or on the staircase, it gets a bit loud, but that doesn't last usually. I had the best sleep in Dromid hostel on St Patrick's Day. The idea was to escape the loudness of the city and it worked absolutely gorgeous. I had a private room (one of four from what I gather) which was right above the kitchen overlooking the river. The kitchen was very handy, very spacious with lots of appliances, dishes and nice wooden tables to eat. There's a pub and a store nearby where you can eat and get groceries, but I didn't, so can't tell anything about them. There are mountains and lakes around. I found a trail on an app that leads to Waterville. It took me about 40min walking to get to the beginning of the trail itself. There must be just regular paths people use that are closer and lead to lakes nearby but I didn't explore them.

The house was lovely. It had everything we needed and our dog loved it too! It’s just a short walk into town and there’s shops nearby. We had a very comfortable stay at pebble lodge and when I called the owner the day before we were due to arrive he was so helpful. I would recommend this house to any family looking to stay in Kenmare

Lovely clean, quiet and excellent position for my excursions in and around the area. Great hosts, very friendly ... and the cakes left for me were a nice guesture - and delicious. Milk and Spread and plenty of teabags supplied. Bed was very comfortable - I was able to get a very relaxed and comfortable sleep every night.

Pat, the host was lovely. He called us to make sure we were on our way and made sure that the house was warm and cozy for our arrival. The views from the property are beautiful 😍 My family, including the dog, had a fab time.

The Kenmare Bay Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the heart of Kenmare. It offers a leisure centre with a pool (Children's hours from 9am to 7pm daily), gym and hot tub, a restaurant and free parking.

Was passing through kenmare on friday 08th of sep 2023, and I said I'd look up accommodation just to see was there something within budget, and was delighted to see Failte Hostel open again as I hadn't being in kenmare for about three years. As I just flow with life now, and the price for three night so reasonable, I decided to book in for three nights. Lovely family run hostel and welcomed with a smile, stayed in sparkling clean 8 bed mixed dorm, spacious shared shower and bathroom facilities with were spotless, with beautiful warm running at all times of the day. Perfect Location just at the top of Hendry Street, If your like me and your looking for somewhere to just lay your head and shower as you go on your adventures around Kerry and West Cork your in an ideal location as a base. Hope this hostel gets all the support it deserves to continue trading in these times we're in, As a hostel is of huge importance in this central location for access to travelling around Kerry & West Cork. Dennis is a great host, perfect location. Sparkling bedding, great coffee and tea facilities, one of the best breakfasts. Walking distance to town, parking onsite. Can highly recommend, i would stay again
