Wake to birdsong. Zimr is located in a garden setting with district views. Comfortable, large and clean rooms. The host and her staff were superb. Breakfasts delicious. We had a wonderful time at Devashola. The location and the view is fantastic, with the tea fields, the valley and the mountains and the ups and downs of the mist. The cottages are very comfortable. The food is amazing, home made personally, with great care and love. All the staff was attentive to our needs.

Without a doubt the prize of Vanam is the exceptional service provided by hotel staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable stay. The food - is fresh, tasty and gloriously cooked in a loving home style way - by the most caring ladies you will ever meet. We stayed extra nights just to enjoy the delicious foods from our room and to savour the views from our room. Special mention to Udaykumar, Ambika Amma, Jaya, Bipin and Jaya who truely make Vanam an amazing stay - look forward to our return visit!!
