The set up was beautiful with a really high attention to detail. The showers were the highest quality, nothing like campsite facilities. The shared areas were stunning. The tent was warm and cosy and everything you could wish for was provided. The kitchen has full cooking facilities: 2 ovens, 2 hot plates, microwave, fridge and all pots and pans.

Very warm welcoming, the room was cosy and with a view on fields with horses. So charming! Attention to details. Very comfortable beds. A tea / coffee and pack of cookies on a table was such a nice surprise:)

a place with character! A huge old fishing factory refurbished to a hostel/cultural centre. You'll have to like the industrial look & feel, for us it was a prefect surprise. The village has quite a weird setting, by the sea in a flat valley, but within reach of many highlinghts of the South. it's simply beautiful.

We spent 5 nights in the guest house. Nice, cozy place in quiet area with farms all around, yet close to the main road. Super comfortable beds, we had a perfect sleep every night after the long days exploring Iceland. In the room we had also a shower and a little kitchen, with all the things we needed for making food. Host Helena was very helpful and easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you Helena! We will be back next summer! 😊

We had a great stay at the guesthouse on top of the hill. The location is great next to the cross roads of Golden Circle and the road to south coast. The facilities were in really great shape and the rooms were comfy and clean.

Hateigi 2 is a great location to explore the Southern area. Veronique is really friendly and helpful. The accommodation is modern, comfortable, and well equipped. Very good value for money. Ideal for family stay. Reykjavik is about 90 min drive, and similar to Vik going the other way. All Golden Circle attractions in reach also.

    Location is good as you are just down the way from Selfoss. Beach is poor accessibility due to tidal swamp area. Tents though are great and well set up. Facilities are up to date and Yola has put a lot into making it a nice stay.

    The tent was really comfortable and warm with a heater and heated mattresses. The location is beautiful and very peaceful, just 10 minutes walk from the water. The facilities are very good and were always kept clean.

    The location by the sea is very nice! Our family tent was as nice as on the pictures, and both warm, airy and comfortable. The shared relax area at the 'barn' is very cosy, and the host is really nice and friendly! All is also perfectly clean and delicate.

    We loved everything about the property! It was our first night in Iceland and it was a magical experience. The tents are warm, cozy and inviting with lots of thoughtful touches. The common facilities are extremely well organized with absolutely everything you need. The location is peaceful and beautiful. The staff are all friendly and kind. We only wished we stayed longer :)
