Perfectly clean. Compact; had everything we needed. The communal kitchen was well-equipped and on-site parking was perfect. Great hot water, and the local geothermal pool was a bonus!

Rognvaldur was extremely nice and easy going. He came by to greet us and best of all to let us know when the auroras were out. The apartment was AMAZING! It had all the basic necessities and was perfect if you do not plan on cooking an elaborated meal. We loved that there was a hot pot right across the street. The apartment was easy to find and while far away from everything it was also close to where you need to get to. The bathroom was great and everything was clean and newly looking. Linens and towels were fresh. Beds were comfortable. Huge windows to look outside.

We loved the location, the place itself and the attention to detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Maria went out of her way to provide a little bed pillow chocolate which was a lovely touch to make us feel so welcomed. Even after we left, we had an incident and Maria came to the rescue to help us!

Nice and comfortable room. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Access to the hotpot any time (bathrobes given by the hotel). The restaurant and breakfast were excellent! Practical facilities (petrol station, pump station for tyres, wash station).

The guesthouse is in a pleasant harbour side location. It has been tastefully furnished and is a good blend of contemporary and traditional. There are nice areas for relaxing, fresh coffee on tap and a small kitchen area if you want to 'do it yourself'. There is however a nice, reasonably priced restaurant next door. Toilets and showers are modern and clean with a good selection of toiletries. Our room had a lovely view over the harbour. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice including home made cakes which were different on the two days we stayed.

We wish we could stay longer in this cozy little hut with the most amazing view. We couldn’t stop taking pictures of the ocean and the amazing clouds and colours right outside the cottage. We love it that we can see the beautiful view from the sofa and dining area. The heating kept us warm. There's a cute little fireplace as well facing the sofa. The terrace and the view are awesome but too cold and windy for us to take advantage of it. The temperature was around 1C late August. Well equipped. We had everything we needed to cook our instant noodles. Great location to base ourselves to explore the area. We appreciate having the self service seafood grocery and hotpool nearby. We received clear check-in instructions. Easy to locate. We matched the location on bookings.com to Google map.
