Cheap hotels in Staður

This is a place of history, a farmhouse from generations. Although I drove here, the location is easily accessible by public transport. Keep that in mind! The host was amazing and very helpful. I loved the library and the commonplace. Although breakfast is not mandatory, it is provided!

Clean, peaceful, good beds, nice location near road 1.Owners gave good tips for our journey. We fealt welcome there.

I like guest house concept in general, therefore shared bathroom is expected. Beautiful farm, very cozy, with amazing library, different from hotel bedrooms, very clean. Relaxed informal atmosphere. Kitchen is fully equipped, and quite good convenience store is at gas station 5 min away from farm. To stay for couple nights is no better place in that location in terms of price-quality. Nice friendly horses outside you can pet and feed.

Lovely place lost in the country side, ideal for northern light watch!

The guesthouse is really cosy, has a well equipped kitchen, and great bedrooms and showers. The host and housekeeper are very welcoming and thoughtful. They go the extra mile by providing you with basic necessities for simple cooking and a light breakfast. Finally, despite not being in a village, this provides me with an excellent location for my journey around Iceland.

The quiet location being in the country.

Excellent location for aurora hunting, we have been lucky as well, very comfortable staying with fully equipped kitchen, super friendly staff.
