Breakfast was over the top, fresh fruit, assorted nuts, eggs different ways, meats, breads, toast, jams, a selection of coffees and teas, all a delight to enjoy. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our hosts Renza and Gherado were extremely helpful, their advice was generous and practical. Their knowledge of the region invaluable, restaurants, sights to see and much more. They made our stay very special.

This is my second stay at Mhateria Relais. I really don’t have any negatives about this property if anything they have only improved on the small issues we faced last time. Location : ideal for day trips (if you have a car) to any Tucson town most of them are 1-2 hours drive. Florence is about 30 mins away by car. Close to The Mall Firenze. Facilities: The facilities here are above and beyond and I have to say adding the drier (which was not there last time) to the laundry room was the big improvement for us from last time where we air dried our clothes. Heaters Air con full kitchen with every possible essential you would need. (Coffeemaker stove dishwasher cutleries plates toaster and even a juicer). Outdoor pool Big on space with a massive smart TV. Hosts are very friendly and helpful big thanks to Andrea.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at this beautifully renovated mansion. The photos just don;t do it justice! The spaces and decor are truly splendid and elegant, with a soft touch of coziness. The bed was very comfortable, the temperature in the room just right and the bathroom spacious, with a large shower (bigger than usual). We really enjoyed the breakfast served by the owner, with high-quality products and very good Italian coffee. We are also grateful for the parking space provided inside the gated yard. We would come back during a more warmer time, to try the enticing swimming pool or, at least, the outside chairs.

    I loved the look and feel of the place, very genuine chateau, that is just being itself. Nice facilities and grounds to walk around in and enjoy. The location and views were spectacular. The staff were friendly Drinks and food were reasonable price

    Fantastic owners, truly lovely and generous people, they made us feel like home. The location is great with a view to the Tuscan hills. Both Tom and his wife are amazing cooks, definitely recommend having dinner with them and getting to know them!

    It's a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Tuscany. The owners are very generous and kind. The house was very lovely. We enjoyed also the pool, slow breakfast outside and Tom is a great cook. The location is perfect - you can enjoy the Tuscan countryside and reach Florence in 30 minutes.
