Quaint little village with two good restaurants with 1min. Quiet (church bells in the morning) and picturesque. Good launch point to various locations to visit in Chianti. Parking is nearby, abundant, and free. The host was excellent. He helped us with bringing our bags upstairs from the car, did a full walkthrough of the place and stuck around for an hour in the shop downstairs just to make sure everything was ok. When we needed some assistance with turning on the water heater a couple hours later, he guided us over the phone successfully, but still came back in person just to make sure everything was ok. The morning after the first night, we discovered our car wouldn't start. The parking garage attendant in our previous accommodation in Florence had changed our headlight settings from auto to manual and we didn't realise he had changed the settings and so parked our car leaving the lights on the whole night. So flat battery the next morning. We called our host and though it was a long weekend, and he was out with family, he came by in 20min to help us jump start our car. Kind and helpful the whole three nights we stayed. The house itself was big. One full bathroom and one ensuite toilet. Fully equipped kitchen and ample heating for the whole house.

Antonella is a very sweet and attentive host. From the moment we arrived on the first day after our long drive, we felt very welcomed at Villa Gorgognano. We immediately felt at home. The place is beautifully designed, very clean, and cozy. For our future trips to Tuscany, we will definitely come back !

The property is perfect (the rooms are really beautifully furnished and the views are amazing). Sascia is the perfect hostess - she makes you so welcome and looked after us so well!!!! The breakfast was also delicious - everything was perfect - I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

    Very nice location, beautiful appartement on a very nice and peaceful domain. Very friendly people. Centrally located in between Pisa - Firenze and Sienna. Weather was great, that helped a lot!

    Location is really good is near to everything. The room is nice and big and it has everything you need. Also it has very big garden where you can chill in the morning. The host was really helpful, she booked a cooking class for us.

    Lovely suroundings, very friendly staff, great rooms. Breakfast was very good and rich, even though we were just two families at the location. Definetly a paradise spot for summer, because they have lots of sport activities you can do. But a foggy november morning was also nice to have. And the wine... the wine was spot on. I wish we could have stayed more in the area to enjoy the location, not only the surroundings (great hub-spot to travel from around Tuscany).

    great location, close to Florence, Siena, Certaldo, San Gimignano in the heart of Chianti, less then 1.5h from Bologna airport. Kids had a lot of fun in the pool. Very helpful owners, we were welcomed with wine and delicious Tiramisu. Nice kitchen and garden. The house itself has perfect “old Italian” style.

    The farmhouse was beautiful, Giovanni was very helpful in recommending places to eat, visit, and even helped us with an emergency. The location is in the middle of the countryside surrounded by breathtaking views. You can travel to all parts of Tuscany within or just over an hour. Definitely recommended!
