Located in the hills in a scenic landscape at the end of a long (and rather bumpy) trail you'll find this gem of an old farmhouse or villa nestling between olive trees. Pure silence, pure nature, pure joy. It's a good starting point for hikes (all up and down, be prepared for some difference in altitude) or trips to Montecatini, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno etc. or one of the many small towns in the area that are all stuffed with old churches, castles, picturesque little alleys and friendly people. Or just stay there and spend your days in or around the pool (until late September), reading and enjoying life. The apartments are spacious, clean and equipped with everything you'll need. You can cook your own food or have your meals there (which I highly recommend, the food was amazing!). The grounds outside are even more spacious and well-groomed. Lots of spots to sit down and have a drink, relax in the sun or just wander around. However, the best thing about this place are the people who run it. Gianluca, Riccardo and Marco are wonderful guys who have made it their mission to make your stay as nice as possible and to make you dread the time you need to leave. Always happy and in a good temper, always up for a chat and always eager to help you. You'll come as a guest but you'll leave as a friend.

It is a very unique place to stay, in a small middle-age hilltop city. Very friendly hosts, and a charming house renovated and furnished in great style. The small town itself is also charming and it is a great place to wind-down. The little garden opposite to the house is the cherry on top.

Great atmosphere with a lovely garden and proper pool. Friendly lady and family who run the place. A very good breakfast! The appartement is nice italian style with a pretty bathroom and very quiet airco. Children playground is nice also. Very friendly and warm hearted place. Easy to park!
