But when you arrive have a glass of aperol under the olive tree and enjoy the stunning view, its all worth it. The pool is really clean and has magnificent view and comfortable chairs. A location which made me fall in love with the Italian countryside in a way I never expected. Views as far as the eye can see. Tasteful, traditional yet modern interiors/facilities and an incredible breakfast on offer with the added convenience of having dinner as an option too. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, and the quadruple "room", which is actually an entire apartment, is generous and authentic (stone cottage feel). We travelled in winter, and while this is NOT an easy property to heat, the owners cranked up the central heating system and it was cosy and warm. The dinner we enjoyed was fabulous, and excellent value for money. There are free roaming animals on the property (chicken, cats, a turkey).Guest review bySusanneGroup

A car is necessary, but the location is worth it. Very nice and helpful hosts. Cookies and home wine were on the table for us when we arrived. Home made olive oil came later. The whole family is involved and ensures that the guests have everything they need. Lots of cooking utensils, and a brand new microwave oven. A very good choice, we were happy to stay there.
