The location was very close to the beach. The staff were wonderful. The food was delicious.The hotel was beautifully decorated and very peaceful.

Nat's Place was homely, hosts were great, hospitable and very pleasant. Breakfast was good and bottled water was readily available always. Room was comfortable and all needs are promptly provided. A good location with ample shops, restaurants and a beach in close vicinity.

We got a little lost on our way to the Villa however, we called Clifton and he was able to guide us directly to Eliwes Villa. He was awaiting our arrival so he hand delivered the keys. Clifton gave us a tour of the property including a view of the rooftop patio. Beautiful space with a cabana, and Muskoka chairs for relaxation. Also, we arrived in time to have an incredible view of a stunning sunset. View of the pool from the roof top was also beautiful. I cannot say enough about Eliwes Villa!

The cabin is private and pretty but still easy walking distance to Calabash bay and the rest of the Treasure beach area. It has everything you could need for a romantic break away from the hustle of the busier areas and resorts. Jordan the host was lovely, very helpful and easily reachable.

Jacob the owner is a great and friendly person. He help me with my trip and gave me great tips for that. The views and sunset from the room are atonishing. It is a very relaxing place.

We had room number 8 very near the beach which had beautiful view of the ocean so we could watch the sun setting every evening. Staff were friendly and professional and the area was a clean and lovely country environment. Basic but adequate with own front door, ensuite plus fridge. Just a few seconds walk to take my morning coffee on the beach. Took our own travel kettle for tea and coffee. Owner and his son Andrew, who taught us how to play dominoes were very helpful and friendly. Explored the abandoned ‘Treasure Beach Resort’ just along the bay - totally deserted. We stayed in February 2025.

Very nice and comfortable APT in a very quiet area in Black River. With a full kitchen, large bedroom, a very good shower and a big comfy sofa !! We received the entrance pincode the day before our arrival, but got the keys from the friendly lady next doors. Also, the payment was done through her, which was not really communicated by the owner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We travelled by route taxis to YS Falls, Treasure Beach and Appleton distillery. Black River is THE transport hub in this part of the island. And is a lively place to be for a few days. The croc tour we did with a local man Teddy, just for the 2 of us, same price 25USD PP, but longer tour and very personal. WATCH OUT for crocs in the sea in town as we have seen 2 bigger ones enjoying the sea .... NOT a joke !! Ask the locals.

From the first communication with Ultimate Freedom Bed and Breakfast (Miss Lydia), I knew I had booked the right place for my parents who needed accommodation for a funeral they had to attend. Miss Lydia was helpful, informative, and patient, answering my questions promptly. Miss Lydia made sure the room was cooled and prepared before my parents' arrival and informed me when they had arrived safely, which I was very grateful for. My parents were nothing but impressed with their room and the level of service Miss Lydia provided. They stated that she went above and beyond, looked after them, and they wanted for nothing! The location is perfect a 5 minute drive to the centre for shopping and the Black river safari tour to visit the crocodiles an restaurants walking distance as this is a villa an amazing view of the sea you just open the gate and you are right on the beach no walking involved and has a lovely swimming pool it is a fisherman area so you will see fishermen in the morning where you can get fresh fish and the place is located where you can go on boat tours to the Pelican bar where the bar is built out at sea the place is very unspoiled and no hustle and bustle so if you are looking for a relaxing vacation with that I own the island to myself feel free to this is the place to be
