Beautiful house in a peaceful town. The house has a very comfortable and completely private upstairs that is very big. There’s a living room with beautiful tatami and a lovely view. The bedroom is fitted with comfortable western beds, a balcony and a projector for watching TV. There is a private bathroom. There is a lovely walk over the river just a few steps away. It is so wonderful to rent the bicycles for free and cycle around the quiet little town.

Cozy hotel on the way to the Koya san, a place to relax after or before a night trip to the mountain. This was the most outstanding place we stayed at in Japan. The owner met us at the train station at the beginning of our 2 night stay and took care of us the entire time. He drove us to restaurants, supermarkets. The next day he picked us up and took us on a tour of all the shrines on the nearby mountain. He was informative, and catered to all our wishes with a great sense of humor and kind spirit. The whole experience was what we wanted from Japan,
