Everything. Anta and his staff go out of their way to make the stay as nice as possible. Be sure to go on a full day safari with them, it really is a memorable experience. And the dinner they make is so delicious, highly recommended.

Very helpful and kind people. They will help you for anything. Speak very well English. Perfect to arrive late by the night bus which can drop you at the door being on the main road. The rooms apre perfectly clean and confortable. Food very good.

A bit of a homestay style, remote in the ricefields. You can hear the elephants at night. Peacefull., They will help you to organise your safaris. Nice family, lovely, very good food. The accommodations are clean and new, balcony very pleasant. Just 3km from the park.

Excellent location, few steps from the gate of the National Park! Room was very comfortable and very clean. Bed was super comfortable too and mosquito net provided. Air con was a welcome relief from the heat. Bathroom was also spacious and clean, hot water was great. The owner was the sweetest man, his nephew messaged to ask if I wanted dinner, I declined, but the owner knocked on my door to give me fruit and ice cream so I wouldn’t go hungry at night. So sweet! His nephew also provided me with a welcome drink and even took me on the safari. Highly recommend doing the safari with them, they were the most affordable and they really considered what animals I wanted to see and tried their best to find them. The breakfast, lunch and snacks were so good! I was very well fed! They were very accommodating to me and really put in effort to help me when my card had issues. I will definitely stay with them again.

Very nice, clean and modern room surrounded by nature and very close to Wilpattu national park. We arrived from airport quite late and they organized transport and a delicious vegetarian dinner for us, apart from a beautiful safari the next day. Everybody was so nice, we had a very lovely time at Life of Leisure.

Fabulous! The host is really friendly and kind. We had a super tasty and variated dinner, local food self service style with an explanation of every dish! Spectacular! The room was peacefull and tidy, sleeping with all the forest noises was fabulous. We highly reccomend to stay here!

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming guesthouse in Sri Lanka - the hospitality was beyond exceptional, and every detail felt so thoughtfully curated. The room was very clean, cozy and with AC. The workers are very warm and helpful. They prepare home-made food which is amazing. Also we arranged with them a safari which we had to cancel because of sickness and they helped us in everything without any charge.

    Perfect place for exploring Wilpattu Nature parc. Very clean rooms, delicious food and excellent staff. Anthony was a perfect guide and driver at the safari and we enjoyed his company and knowledge. We surely recommend wilpattu wildhideaway

    Great location, located close to the entrance of the park. The suite has a plunge pool in the shade, very refreshing! Beautiful lake for birding located right behind their property. The guys are super friendly and also advised on type of safari. The safari itself was out of this world, while many cars did not see much that day we saw 3 leopards, elephant, bear, and much more.

    Very friendly staff and excellent diner (3 courses). Location close to the park and binoculars are offered for the safari. We enjoyed our safari. It is a beautiful park and we saw many birds, deer, one elephant and one leopard for 10 seconds in the bush. Based on the good reviews we had hoped to see a bit more of a leopard, but we were happy because the day before no elephants or leopards had been seen. So you need to be a bit lucky.

    A good location close to park entrance. Anton was a charming, knowledgeable host, with excellent english. A keen wildlife photographer. Breakfast and evening meals were very good, and safari breakfast and lunch plentiful and tasty. The safari, organised by Anton, was excellent, especially birdlife and leopard sighting. Binoculars and wildlife books were available to use. The whole stay was very enjoyable.

    We absolutely loved our time at Anton's. He could not have been more helpful, answering all our questions before we arrived. The rooms were simple and clean. The food was so delicious - especially the dinners served in the cute dining room with lamps. The hotel is only a few kms from the national park entrance. Anton arranged our safari with Harsha, which was great, and even drove us to our next location. A perfect stay.

    The loveliest host with thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Also helped us out with getting some things we needed in town, and gave us a lift to the bus station. Clean room, gorgeous dinner with a special / romantic set-up. Perfect location, short drive to the national park. Highly recommend.

    The perfect location to stay if you are in for a Safari in Wilpattu NP. Hi Almost next to the entrance. We recommend to book a day tour in the park with the owner of the lodge. Anta is a super host and a super tour guide and can tell a lot about the wildlife and the park. The lunch and breakfast in the jeep were excellent. On your return you will be treated to a delicious 3-course meal in a romantic setting in the garden. Always different and very tasty. Just a big THANK YOU!
