The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location faced to beautiful paddy field. Top tip : Hotel owner Mrs.Dilhani arranged our Safari and made us delicious breakfast packed in a containers to carry with us while on safari.We had an absolutely brilliant day and I would love to recommend White House Inn - Thissamaharama to other travellers. The best place in thissamharama is A very quiet environment and an neat and clean garden .. Good hospitality.. Staff was very friendly. The provided everything we needed... It's very close to thissamharama town. We are going to sithulpauwa and katharagama. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. They have a massive restaurant. The food was delicious and refreshing. It's highly recommend for a stay in thissamharama

Great accommodation in Tissa! The rooms are spacious and clean, and have a balcony with a beautiful view to rice fields. The pool is really nice. Great value for money. The owners helped organize the full day safari. Really great tour (we saw 2 leopards) with a guide that doesn’t follow the crowds and truly explores the park. The location is not super close to centre but they have bicycles we can use (just a 20min bike ride)

I will give this a 10/10 out of how much the owner provided for me. The view outside is amazing, just in front of the lake. So peaceful! So the room was okay. But the best thing for me was that the owner provided me a free tour around the place, watching sunset, crocodiles, bats and owls. He also took me to the atm, supermarket, and picked me up from the bus when arriving. Everything for free. And I can also recommend going with the safari that he is providing. That guide was also amazing, experienced, and affordable.

This hotel was amazing. Nice and clean room with a pleasant smell. Very nice family. From the time we arrived till we left you feel so comfortable with them , make you feel like you are at home. A nice and fresh watermelon juice on arrival as a welcome drink .The food was delicious. They offer bicycles for free and let us use the washing machine.The organised safari was amazing. He also organised a tuktuk for us to take us to the bus stop to continue our next destination for Ella after morning safari. We recommend this accommodation.

Had a great tima At Udara’S place! We had a lovely welcome,and Udara gave us a lot information about his garden. Room was big and clean. Udara’s mum prepared us a dinner-so far the best one we Had in Sri Lanka.

Very nice and equipped tents! One of the best showers in Sri Lanka. We felt like close to the nature. The beds were very comfortable. The food was super delicious and the Safari that we booked with them was very nice. We asked them to leave 30minutes earlier and they managed to do so. Our Safari guide Oshan was very nice and put a lot of effort into our experience and showed a lot of different animals.
