The owners couldn’t have been more helpful - from helping me find the place to bringing me juice and a snack when I arrived! They cooked such a lovely breakfast where I sat on the balcony area watching the nature. The room itself was massive and had everything I needed, so comfortable.

Yet another memorable holiday with my family having occupied full villa with its pristine condition since my past two remarkable holidays spent with my family and close friends few months as ago. Specious and clean air-conditioned bed rooms and linen placed with traditional furniture gave us cozy feeling and much expected comfort, serenity and relaxation. We are greatly thankful to the industrialist and proprietor Mr. Janaka for his commitment and customer centric effort towards upgrading facilities and services at this sought-after beachfront villa by using his talent and entrepreneur skills thus delighted our expectations in terms of cleanliness, security, and conveniences. Nevertheless, while homemade palatable, authentic & quality food preparation, high level of service provided by The Blues’ caring, passionate, & friendly lady-chef Nishanie was trustworthy, rewarding and par excellence; the calm and clean blue water mini-swimming pool and the calm surroundings with specious green, tall canopy trees alongside pool gave us immense poolside relaxation and therapy hence pushed us out of our comfort zone.

I loved everything about this property. Super clean, stylish, in a great location, easy walk to Kabalana beach. I felt safe and comfortable staying here! There is a really cool, fun vibe about this place! The pool and lounge areas by the pool was amazing ! Breakfast - also amazing. I am already planning my return to this amazing hotel!

The hosts and location of the property were amazing! The hosts gave us multiple travel recommendations and also made sure we were taken care of getting back to Colombo. I’d highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a more relaxed home stay villa.

We stayed in the villa at the top, which offered a stunning view thanks to the large panoramic doors and windows. We stayed in Room 19, which turned out to be spacious and cozy. It had all the necessary amenities: air conditioning, a comfortable bed and mattress (just like home), new beautiful and comfortable furniture, nice bathroom with a large shower, a bidet, and a washing machine. We were pleased to have a kitchen, a refrigerator, and household items. The territory is simply magnificent, it was looked after every day, the place is full of beautiful trees where birds sing and build nests. You can see how grows mango, papaya, lime, bamboo, etc. It’s like a paradise. There’s also a pool on the premises. It was nice to dip in and spend time there. Staff:
 The first thing that comes to mind about the staff is their smiles and politeness. I thank everyone who works in this place for their kindness and friendliness. Sasini always tried to assist us with any inquiries: helping with little requests, organizing excursions, and you could talk to her about the culture and traditions in Sri Lanka. She was very responsive and kind, even giving me a small gift to remember our stay. Driver Sandaru was always friendly and quickly took us to the necessary places in a tuk-tuk. He recommended visit a turtle hatchery and took us to nice beaches: Dalawela Beach and Jungle Beach, which are not far from the villa. He even gifted us some incense, it was nice. Every 3-4 days, we were offered cleaning, and they vacuumed, changed the sheets, towels, and wiped all surfaces and mirrors. However, you could also request cleaning earlier if needed. Breakfast was included in the price:
A buffet was offered mostly local food, but it was always varied. One day my wife mentioned that she likes the Aralia flower, and later the staff presented it to her just like that, it was a very kind and nice gesture.

One of the nicest hostels I stayed at in Sri Lanka. I loved my stay at the Sixth Sense, the only problem was that I spent only one night! The hostel has everything you need, it’s very comfortable, clean, with a cute design and the host and staff are incredibly welcoming and nice people.

    By far the best setup place we stayed in, in Sri Lanka. It had everything we needed and more, a beautiful big deck, very well equipped kitchen, and is in a great location for Delawella turtle beach! Niroshan and his family were very warm and welcoming and we really loved our stay here :)

    Location was great! Mr. Janaka, the owner and host of the property showed absolute professionalism and an extremely kind attitude, a true Military Leader. The caretakers Suranga and his wife were absolutely amazing. The hospitality, flexibility and caring nature was beyond expectations. Only drawback - you would never want to leave this place, it grows in you and you’ll feel it’s home! 😊
