The location is perfect for anyone arriving from the airport heading inland, since it is close to the railroad (without being close enough to hear it). The town is the perfect place to acclimatise to Sri Lankan life and heat, and gives you a unique opportunity to explore village life off the beaten track. The rooms have everything you need and the breakfast is overwhelmingly delicious. All in all, we would recommend going here straight from the airport, rather crowded and noisy Colombo

One of our favourite places in Sri Lanka. On the road to Kandy lies a perfect little place with great facilities. The food is amazing (we also got some extra, fresh jackfruit during the afternoon), the staff is very friendly, the bed is great, shower lovely, the Wifi quick, communication swift, and it's affordable. When we arrived we were stunned by the beautiful architecture of the Villa. It is very open und full of light. Even some trees got planted inside the living room which really gave us the feeling of freedom and nature. The host couple welcomed us most welcoming and where always there for our questions and needs. The rooms where always clean and tidy. After 6 Nights of staying I can only recommend to come and stay with them to get a feeling of the best Sri Lankan hospitality.
