Staff - Management and team were exceptional from arrival to departure. So welcoming and informative. Perfect hosts. Room - the villa was exceptional with incredible design and features - including outdoor shower and indoor trees. Great seating and decor. Food - dinner and breakfast was superb . Served in the villa and in the restaurant area. The food was the best we’d had in Sri Lanka.

Everything was amazing. We can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Upul. He was so kind, and helped us with everything we needed. This was my favourite stay of my Sri Lanka trip so far! The location is incredible, the area was clean and accommodation was clean and comfortable. Every single staff member on the property was hard working, helpful and showed us the greatest hospitality, from the moment we arrived. Even the communication leading up to our arrival was fantastic. Nishantha is a wealth of knowledge. He had so much information to give us about every animal we saw, including all of the birds. Not only did he host us and accompany us on our safari. We also saw him cleaning and helping to maintain the property for the guests. This is the same for all of the staff. We saw them thoroughly cleaning the accommodation, while also catering to the guests needs. The food was incredible! So fresh and delicious and I especially loved the Kotu and watching the chef cook it. The kitchen staff were wonderful. There was also a dance and fire ceremony before and after dinner which was fabulous. Thank you also to the staff for making sure there were no bugs in our rooms and beds before we went to sleep. If you are considering going to Yala you will not be disappointed by staying here! I highly recommend!

The hotel/ houses are located in the jungle, creating a natural atmosphere. We stayed for one night, and it was a great experience — fully immersing ourselves in nature. We really liked the staff, the host contacted us in advance and met us with a jeep at the main road, then brought us to the hotel. We saw deer and monkeys near the hotel :) They prepared a vegan breakfast for us upon request and also packed food for our safari tour. The host was very friendly and helped us with the safari tour. During the tour, we saw leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and many other animals and birds. We were very happy with our trip!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hilton Yala Resort, a lovely and unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Shashi from Guest Relations, who was incredibly kind and made me feel instantly at home. Her genuine care set the tone for the rest of my stay. A special thanks to Vino, the Front Office Manager, for being so helpful and attentive throughout my visit. At the restaurant, Isuru was outstanding, always attentive, friendly, and full of positive energy. He made every meal even more enjoyable with his excellent service. One of the highlights of my trip was the beach walk guided by Chathura. His knowledge about the local wildlife and environment was impressive, and he explained everything in such a passionate and engaging way. The resort itself is stunning, surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty!! I couldn’t ask for more, thanks for everything.
