The area is great, with an amazing view from the terraces. The shared space is big and has anything we needed, and the room and bathroom were clean and relaxing. Great stay especially for people that like hiking. Going to the cascades is a must. The hosts are also very nice and helpful, and they offer good breakfast.

Wonderful guest house, so relaxing and hospitable. We spent a great time there. Zac and Tom, that manage the house, are 2 kind and smart guys, you can ask them for suggestions about what to do or help to book any activity you want. 3 days per week they organize a dinner with all the guests. It's a very cool situation where you can speak and interacts with people from other countries about your experience in Mauritius. A lovely place with lovely people.

We have received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The owner provided a complete vitlsit of the apartment. Everything was new and clean from ustensils to furniture. The aparment is located in a calm and secured area. We have had access to a private balcony and also to the top terrace where you have an excellent visibility on Quatre Bornes and also where you can appreciate the sunset on Black River. The bed rooms are very spacious and they are equipped with both aircon and fan. You even have a big wardrobe in each room. Bathroom is equipped with both solar and electrical systemand is very spacious & clean incuding toilet. One additional toilet is available near washing machine space. High water pressure is available on 24h7. Secure parking is available. TV and wifi are also available. It is value for money and highly recommended for a safe and calm stay.

We loved the helpfulness of all the staff. Kavy, the manager, was very approachable and gave us good advice about transport. (For example, when we inquired about a taxi ride to Souillac, not only did he oblige and hired a cab for us, but it was a new Mercedes and the price lower than expected). The breakfast were delicious and magnificent, and something to look forward to. We picked the large room, which is very spacious and bright, and in our opinion well worth the little extra. There is a handy cafe/restaurant just 10 or so metres across the entrance to Hello Guesthouse, where we ate our dinners. The guesthouse is located in walking distance to the metro station, buses, bank and the local market. The hotel exceeded our expectations and is excellent value. We really loved our stay at Hello Guesthouse and highly recommend it.

    The location is next to a beautiful mountain with a view of the waterfalls and the sea. The sunset was very beautiful. The host family was helpful and nice, and provided an early check in as we requested. They offered us their services as a guide for any hike we wanted, and gave us some recommendations for restaurants around.

    The location next to the waterfalls hike is very convenient. Also a great location to go on day trips from. The view from the balcony is really nice. The kitchen is well equipped. Decent breakfast (althoug a little repetitive after being exactly the same for 4 days).
