Stayed in newly converted chalet on beach front and found it very spacious, clean and comfortable. A great fridge, nice hot shower and comfy if not hard new mattress. Woke up to a stunning view out to sea everyday. Couldn’t ask for more.

Beautiful quiet private beach. Clear water, good for snorkeling. Salang is much quieter than the other villages on Tioman island, so you get a real island experience with the locals. There are shops with everything you may need and many restaurants with great, affordable food. There are a few scuba shops and schools that will take you out on scuba excursions to the coral reefs. Ella was a great host.

We loved this place and its location. It looked like a tourist village with so many plants and decorations <3 Staff was great and very helpful. Our room had both air con and fans, which really made a difference during the humid night times. And the best part of this was that the place has a restaurant just in front of it that I would rate as a 10+ for their cordiality! We adored the lady (we thought she was the owner) as she was friendly and enthusiastic! Plus, her traditional food was a dream :D

The accommodation was very close to the jetty place . The hotel staff named Zafeeq was very helpful and friendly . He helped us with everything. We had a snorkeling tour with him and he gave us a very good tour . The environment near our room was very quiet and relaxing. Once again I thank you Zafeeq for your great work .

Very tidy, large, and spacious, clean room. It has a kettle, water, coffee, tea. Faiž is extremely kind, from the moment of check-in, throughout each and every day, always professional, courteous, cheerful, and ready to help for anything needed. Hotel is very good located, close to the ferry port and, less then 50 meters from the beach. All recommendations for Papaya resort, we would definitely come again.

We had the most amazing experience at the boathouse, from the start to the very end the staff took such good care of us and were so friendly and welcoming. The scenery is stunning, the food was great, the snorkelling trip was so much fun and the room was so clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

Best accomodation with sea view, directly on the beach, in the best location in Tioman. Beautiful beach, not crowded, great snorkeling options. Appartment is new, clean, with aircon and small fridge. Great option to stay in Tioman. We definitely recommend! Thank you Ezz!
