A beautiful stay in family home. Comfortable room and air conditioning right bt the courtyard and pool. All very friendly and helpful and even gave us a lift to the bus station when we left.

We had a great stay at Casa Bubu with Yves, the owner, who alongside his staff went above and beyond to make sure our every need was exceeded. Wholesome full breakfasts, working AC, hot water, refreshing clean pool, comfortable bed, laundry service, welcome treats and drink…to name a few of the things that set Bubu above the rest. Lovely atmosphere, tasteful decor, beautiful architecture and design. Great spot to rest, refresh, hike and explore the city on your doorstep. We will certainly be back if we find ourselves traveling in Nica again. Already missing Gref! (the aqua cat)

Chilled hostel with lots of hammocks & only a block from the main square and market. Daily social activities make it easy to meet people & no pressure to participate if you don’t want to (food tour, walking tour, salsa, Masaya etc)- all create a really nice atmosphere. Everyone we met there was so lovely. Stayed in a private room which was comfortable & great value. Breakfast included & free pasta family meal was great on Monday & Wednesdays. Thank you Denise, Maria, Justin, Steve & all your wonderful team! We will be back!
