Location is right smack in the middle of Thamel so was walking distance to the action. Room and toilet were clean. The air-conditioning was nice to come back to after a whole day out in the smog. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I fell sick after my trek and stayed at Daali after. The staff made sure I got better before leaving Kathmandu! Food was also not bad given I had to stay indoors to recover and was limited by movement. Honestly the best coffee I had throughout my stay in Nepal.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the sheets smelled nice. They gave me a balcony room which was really lovely. The room itself was pretty spacious. The staff were friendly and responded well to my requests. Reasonable price. Breakfast was also good. Great stay! I was welcomed with a refreshing juice. Since the complimentary airport pick-up was not used by me (I already was in Kathmandu by that time), drop-off was provided. The reception staff, doorman, waiters, driver were very helpful. Sorry guys, I didn’t ask your names. The breakfast was rich and varied, and the inner yard was a cosy spot to enjoy it. The cook deserves a special mention – the food was excellent. Overall, very good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed at the kailash boutique hotel for 5 nights , property was spotless and in an excellent location , room was very clean , bed was super comfortable. Staff were first class , extremely helpful and very friendly. The manager Dol couldn't have been more accommodating, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

Very nice New hotel, very clean, shower is great with a lot of pressure, comfortable beds, ideal location in Thamel area, quiet street, super nice staff doing all their best to serve you, very good breakfast buffet, amazing ratio price/quality! We also booked our trekking tour with Dol (the hotel manager) through Third Rock Adventures and I highly recommend them. They have a 99% satisfaction rate on Trip Advisor with 629 reviews to this date.

This hotel is fantastic value for money. The service is excellent, particularly from Dev the manager who went above and beyond to look after us and make us feel at home. The rooms are very clean, the included breakfast is delicious and the location is great - close enough to walk to the thick of it, but far enough away for it to be quiet. If you’re looking for somewhere affordable and simple, but very comfortable, stay at Chhimeki!
