Tony & Jill were wonderful and welcoming hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Tony helped carry our suitcase from the car to the studio at the back of the property. The pool and Jacuzzi were a fabulous added bonus. The icing on the cake was the G&T our hosts gave us by the poolside. Outstanding! At the same time we had privacy as the studio is completely seperate from the main house. The Studio is in a wonderfully landscaped garden with a wide range of plants & trees. The accommodation is “compact and bijou”, but has everything you might need. Very cleverly designed. There is outside seating areas with a small table and two chairs to sit & watch tv. At the end of the stay our hosts said we could check out later if we wished. Very relaxed family oriented hosts, who gave us great information about the town, and where to eat and visit etc. Small continental breakfast that was very tasty. We were also given a lovely homemade slice, to have with a cuppa when we arrived as well. 😋 Highly recommended!

The apartment was well laid out, very new looking inside with everything you could need and all facilities were to a very high standard. There were little extras that you would not necessarily expect like luxury shower gel and shampoo and small chocolates

It was worth staying here, very nice rooms. If you love classic but still modern, this is the place to be and sleep. Nice shower good beds (mattress was not too hard not to soft just perfect) I did love the classic lounge that was taking care off nice and tidy. You can have a nice walk outside. There are some funny (jersey) cows. Nice host very friendly

Super clean. Beautiful home decor. Truly home away from home vibes. Location was nice and quiet, away from the main road. LOVE THE NO KEY IDEA. Flash pin code entry! Beds and foldout couch were comfortable, so had some great sleeps. Newly renovated bathroom was stunning!! Now I'm thinking of renovating mine 🤭

Richard and Viv are amazing hosts. Really helpful and informative. Made us feel very much at home. The guest area itself was very modern, clean and tidy with everything you could hope for and a bit more ie. A nice cold beer in the fridge on arrival. Very comfortable place to stay!

    The unit was very clean with very comfortable beds. It also exceeded our expectation as it included a spa bath which we weren't expecting so that was a pleasant surprise! For us, the location close to the central city was ideal and the staff were friendly.

    Beautiful building, very clean, great location and friendly host. We only stayed one night unfortunately and would definitely return if in Whanganui again. We walked easily into town. In fact, we only used the car to get to the beach. I was a little uncertain about the shared bathroom arrangement but the facilities were spotless.
