It is a lovely place with welcoming hosts and nice pool area where we were served excellent breakfast. Very close to the beach. The hosts helped us print boarding passes as we didn’t know that Izmir airport doesn’t accept mobile boarding passes. The Cunda Island centre is very close within walking distance.

Our home at the Cunda.. we had been with my girlfriend Hotel was clean. staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic handcrafted pastries, bagel local cheeses, olives..pancakes honey, jams, they have very nice menu.. good drinks.. a hidden peace! pool was clean we were really happy there.. sure we are going to visit again! thank you all! We spent the first part of our holiday in Ayvalık in Nilüfer Butik Otel and this stay really made our holiday special for several reasons. When planning our holiday we were looking for a quiet and unique hotel by the sea where we could enjoy our first holiday in three months since we got engaged and this hotel was exactly the type of hotel we were looking for! It is a small family owned hotel, very cozy, located by the sea. It has this cute garden right outside the breakfast area and the whole vibe in this place is just right. We felt really good taken care of by Ahmet and his family and would recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a flawless experience in Ayvalık with a genuine and personal touch. Cantekin, the General Manager of D-Resort, sets the tone for a stay where genuine warmth meets flawless precision. Staying here feels like stepping into Switzerland – everything is finely tuned like a Swiss watch, yet it unfolds on Turkey’s breathtaking Aegean coast. We stayed in a spacious bungalow: sound‑insulated, comfortable, peaceful. We asked for an extra mattress and received a full, high‑quality one — it transformed our living room into a second bedroom. Every request was met with kindness and care. The food was a highlight: fresh, generous, and soulful. Local fish and ultra‑sweet watermelons were unbelievable delights. Breakfasts with hand‑selected ingredients felt indulgent and heartfelt. Live music over the weekend added warmth without noise. The grounds are immaculate – green lawns, hammocks, clean pathways, and a gently sloping, crystal‑clear beach. The sea breeze is invigorating. If I could suggest one upgrade, it would be natural down pillows like those at Sofitel — to complete the luxury. D‑Resort Ayvalık is among the best resort stays I’ve had, rivaling Park Hyatt Saadiyat. Deep thanks to Cantekin and the team. We’ll return soon.

    What did I like? I can say that everything, the location is on a cozy, pretty, flower-filled street, close to all the main attractions of the island, good restaurants, coffee shops, excellent beaches. Delicious breakfasts at the hotel, served individually on the open cozy terrace, I will miss the omelette with cheese, menemen, simit and Turkish tea :) Thank you very much for my great stay at your hotel!
