The owners of the hotel are extremely nice and although they dont speak english we managed to communicate really well. We booked the dinner with them and it was really amazing - all home cooked traditional dinner. Would definitely recommend to take it if you stay here. The hotel is on a bit of a remote road but its really worth the drive. Room is as shown in the pictures. Would definitely stay here again.

A very unique, random but cool place in a remote "village". To get there, you cross the bridge over the river with a stunning view. It's close to beautiful hikes and they provide a solid healthy breakfast. Lunch and dinner as well if you want, with veggies from their own garden. Downstairs is filled with taiwanese artifacts and statues and upstairs is a gallery. It's very relaxed and an experience to stay here if you love hiking! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! A bit over 2hrs from Taichung with a direct bus to Lileng, 7 minute walk from bus stop Lileng.

Bright Moon Homestay completely exceeded our expectations! We were offered exceptional hospitality and kindness by the host and family. Mr Lin is an exceptional host. He goes above and beyond t help people. He drove all the way to taichung to drop my family to the hsr railway station which is more than an hour away. Cant thank him enough. The place has a view to die for. The food was great. All in all 10/10 experience.

This place is outstanding from the views to the attentiveness of the staff. The size of the rooms are excellent and have all the facilities you need. Breakfast was buffet style and for us was ideal. After a long day hiking to come and sit in the garden with the view across the mountains was awesome.
