My gf and I have stayed at The Bear on multiple occasions to visit her family and each time we are blown away at how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is to us. They go out of their way to make your stay great and have always helped us keep luggage there safely as we travelled to other parts of Taiwan. Invaluable to us so that we can go to other areas without having to take massive amounts of luggage with total peace of mind that all is 100% safely looked after. Next to a beautiful river, in the middle of nature - we fell asleep to the sounds of the waterfall. The hosts were lovely, gave us a heartfelt welcome and took care of all our needs. They are part of the taiwanese indigenous people called Atayal, and love music. The room was spacious and comfortable.
