I recently spent an incredible seven days at the Maharaja Hotel for our honeymoon, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, the exceptional service set the tone for our stay. The staff, including Anita, Mashk, and Shaban, were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt right at home. Every day, our room was meticulously cleaned, and we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh towels and beautiful towel swans arranged on the bed. These thoughtful touches made our honeymoon even more special. One of the highlights of our trip was a special dinner arranged right on the beach. The ambiance was simply magical, with the sound of waves creating a serene backdrop. The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish not only looked amazing but also burst with flavor. It was clear that every meal was crafted with care and skill. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay even more enjoyable. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Maharaja Hotel to anyone looking for a slice of paradise in Zanzibar. Our experience was truly remarkable, and I can't wait to return!

Wonderful stay at Habibi B&B. The room is spacious and beautiful. The outdoor area is calm and quiet. Beautiful swimmingpool. First of all, we would like to thank the hotel team, the heart and soul of the hotel! The new management does an excellent job, we felt like royalty, from our arrival to our departure. Amazing views from our (immaculately clean) room, a beautiful pool area and garden, great and affordable restaurant and bar, what else does anyone need? Oh yes, privacy, since the individual bungalows are spread out in the gardens, friendly, competent and always smiling staff, reading our wishes from our lips, a wide white sandy beach in front of the hotel that invites for kilometer long walks, without being harassed by beach vendors as in all other touristic places on the island that we visited. We were allowed to plant a papaya tree right next to our bungalow and we will be back to see how it has grown in 6 months. We can't wait! Thank you to the owner, the manager and everyone involved, for the warmest hospitality and the most memorable stay!

My wife and I spent 5 days here and we were very satisified with everything. Rented a 110m3 villa that was very spacious. Bed was super large and comfy too. The restaurant was AMAZING! We had Á la carte all week and there are always multiple options. I do recommend the all inclusive package (if you are going to spend your time in the hotel) bc they make nice juices and mocktails (no alcohol) and the food was really good. The pool area has plenty of beds, most are facing the ocean, but you can walk right out to the water to a public area. We werent able to do any snorkeling bc the waves were too strong. Its approx. a 50 min drive from the airport.

From the moment you step in the resort you are being treated like a king and queen. Very attentive and kind stuff. Very convenient to communicate via WhatsApp. If you have a request or a problem it’s immediately dealt with. The rooms are cleaned daily and in the evening they prepare your bed for a good night. The territory is kept very clean and natural at the same time. The pool is never busy and very pleasant to swim in. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. We used to have a quiet coffee moment in the afternoon, we used French press provided in the room. The coffee was excellent. There is too much to tell. The food is great. We recommend to take a half board, this way you have flexibility to do daily activities and have a very nice and tasty dinner in the evening. Every board is made a piece of art! We had a great complimentary reef walk with Suleiman. Wonderful way to learn about the ocean and its inhabitants. Almost every day a lesson in Swahili with Shamis! Great and fun way to lean the basics of the language, customs, traditions and culture. We can talk on and on about reception and restaurant stuff, lots of smiles and laughter from everybody, flowers everywhere and fruits just hanging next to your bungalow, monkeys passing by on the road, beautiful sun rise and the location of the beach front bungalows! Traditional singing and dancing at our anniversary dinner. We’ve enjoyed every moment there. And really did not want to leave. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts, making our anniversary very special!

Our first stay at this resort was a wonderful one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good. You get about six choices for breakfast and a fruit platter and juice of the day are included. There is a bar and restaurant on site that you pay extra, but we enjoyed both very much. Prices are reasonable. The sunsets are breathtaking, and the beach and ocean are easily accessible. Our room was comfortable and air conditioned.

    Everything about this place is bliss. The location right next to the ocean is just wow. You are steps away from the sandy beach. We had booked a private pool bungalow and it was just exactly how we wanted out holiday. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. A special mention to the sea food they have which is just too good and the rates are super reasonable. I would surely recommend this property be it families, honeymoon couples or singles travelling in a group

    Very quiet and peaceful location. Nice beach, due to tides, you can swim there a half day, the water is nice though a bit shallow and very very warm. But it's possible to swim. Bungalow was very clean and comfortable.
