Everything was perfect from the day I checked in till the end of my stay. Breakfast was delicious, wifi was good and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. The hostel was clean and neat. I would recommend Ubuntu Hivve Hostel for anyone who is visiting Kampala.

I highly recommend that accomodation. Great, very convenient location by the main street of munyonyo, in good area, good acces to transports, close to many facilites like shops, restaurants, bars, other apartment and villas building, beatifull view of the lake, clean, well equipped (especially huuuge, very comportable double bed), safely with 24h security, and very helpful and kind hosts :). and really good price for all that comfort. Finally I stayed 2 weeks.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 256, The location was perfect! easy access to town and to the airport. It is located within a gated community, providing security and peace of mind. Our room had a lovely view of the lake, which was nice to wake up to. We enjoyed a well prepared breakfast and a delicious dinner of Ugandan local cuisine. Our rooms were very comfortable, well decorated, and had all the room amenities required. Toni and Esther, the hotel staff, were very attentive and always on hand to offer any assistance or information. Every area of the hotel has been well designed and is extremely inviting.
