La Vela is an upmarket Hotel, about a 10-minute taxi ride from the center of Hue. There is a free shuttle twice a day into town and back again. The infinity pool on the rooftop is amazing, and the food at the restaurant was 10/10 with exceptional presentation. We enjoyed a free full buffet breakfast with more options than you could imagine. Our room was large with plenty of space for suitcases opened out, and we had good views from our room

Gorgeous rooms with modern features but still full of charm. Very nice spacious bathroom with rain shower. Large rooms with balcony. Awesome rooftop pool and garden gives you a whole 360 view of Hue. Amazing staff are so nice and helpful with excellent English. Honestly can't wait to go stay again.

Spacious room. Courteous and friendly staff. Worked very hard to get us local sightseeing. And then a city transfer taxi - in fact our taxi broke down midway and the team was quick in organizing a substitute that reached in 5 minutes.

We were here only one night, but we would stay longer. The owner is helpful, welcoming and we felt like home. The best homestay in area. Room was cozy and clean. The location was very convenient and close to everything.

The host was the highlight. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do, she answered some of the questions we still had about Vietnamese history and was generally a joy to talk to. The breakfast was tasty, we rented bicycles and they washed our laundry. Although the room was quiet small it was no problem and the AC was great.

I only stayed one night, but it was very nice and the host is super kind and helpful!! The location was perfect for me, since I wanted to be in a more quiet area and also close to the many cultural sites. I really recommend you to go to Vong Canh Hill at the Sunset, you will enjoy the best view on the river, mountains and also the city!
